The concentrated iron ore pellet is used for various iron and steel scrap, such as iron powder, iron scrap,steel slag and other powders.
This innovative technology has been widely adopted by the metallurgical industry to recover iron resources from scrap and steel waste in order to improve resource sustainability while reducing production costs and increasing corporate output.
In addition, these binders are better than traditional inorganic binders because they add less, have stronger adhesion, higher pellet forming rate and less fines. It will not reduce the grade of pellets, improve the recovery rate of smelting, and facilitate transportation and storage.
When using this binder, the pellets have sufficient mechanical strength, and sufficient anti-breaking strength in pellet production and transfer, and adding to blast furnace smelting can improve iron product quality and smelting efficiency, which not only meet the requirements of blast furnace smelting process, but also can experience long-distance transportation and long-term storage. Through this process, not only the existing iron and steel scrap resources are used rationally, but also the pollution to the environment can be reduced, and the large need for high quality lump iron ore for blast furnace can be relieved, which helps to solve the increasingly tight problems of iron ore resources and railroad transportation, etc., with large economic and social benefits.
